As community solar continues to expand and develop across the U.S., companies are finding new ways to leverage state community solar programs to meet their sustainability and ESG goals. Michael Puckett, Director, C&I Origination – Distributed Generation with NextEra Energy will provide a national overview of existing and emerging community solar markets and share the tactics corporations are deploying to further their corporate sustainability strategies, including how they are treating project savings and the purchasing options for replacement RECs. Puckett will also present a case study showcasing how a major U.S. company used community solar to drive savings and as an employee benefit and engagement tool.
This webinar is intended to help sustainability and energy professionals understand the opportunities community solar presents to their organization, including understanding contemporary project economics and impacts from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
