CWI Urges Revisit of Workers’ Independent Contractor Status

Seyfarth Shaw, on behalf of the Coalition for Workforce Innovation (CWI), submitted comments pursuant to the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division’s notice of the proposed rulemaking and request for comments regarding Independent Contractor Status under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) 85 Fed. Reg. 60600 (Sept. 25, 2020). The group also shared two studies related to alternative workforce arrangements.
