RILA Adds Autumn Moore as Director of Regulatory Affairs and

Today, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), the trade association for America’s largest and most innovative brands, announced Autumn Moore as director of regulatory affairs and compliance.  

As part of RILA’s legal and compliance team, Moore will be responsible for leading and facilitating activities for RILA’s Consumer Product Committee, comprised of retail regulatory compliance and QA executives as well as in-house counsel. Moore will also work with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Department of Energy, and the Environmental Protection Agency, on topline consumer product-related issues impacting the retail industry.

Moore comes to RILA by The Toy Association where she held the position of Manager of Standards and Regulatory Affairs. She worked on product safety issues, standards development, internet connected toy issues and chemical regulations   

Before joining The Toy Association, Moore worked from 2008-2012 in the Office of Commissioner Nancy Nord at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission during implementation of the groundbreaking consumer law, the “Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act” (CPSIA) of 2008. Moore also worked for the late Senator Pete V. Domenici. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in 2006.
