Ethical Supply Chains & Forced Labor Prevention

Retailers are committed to protecting workers’ rights and eliminating forced labor from global supply chains. RILA works with policymakers, industry partners, and international organizations to strengthen supply chain transparency, promote responsible sourcing, and ensure ethical labor practices across the retail ecosystem.

Ethical Supply Chains

Leading retailers are committed to ethical sourcing.  For more than 20 years, our members have implemented some of the most rigorous due diligence measures to ferret out unethical practices and support ethical manufacturing around the world. When we discover evidence of forced labor, our members act – resulting in stronger protections for workers and better and safer working conditions around the world.

RILA and industry partners are pushing U.S. leaders to engage collaboratively with allies and organizations to end forced labor practices worldwide. RILA is advocating for U.S. leaders to join with industry leaders, NGOs, and other governments to identify constructive solutions to increase transparency, protect workers' rights, and ensure the integrity of global supply chains.
