RILA engages leaders from the companies shaping the retail industry. Consumer product manufacturers collaborate with retail peers to address shared challenges, gain industry insights, and connect with senior executives across the retail ecosystem.

RILA engages leaders at the companies that are influencing and changing the retail industry. As a product manufacturer, you have the opportunity to work with your retail peers on the issues affecting the retail industry and network with senior executives at our educational events to hear their challenges and opportunities.

Become A Member  

To become a product manufacturer member, a company must manufacture products intended for end consumers and sold through retail outlets. Product Manufacturer Member dues are based on total annual revenue.    

Membership Benefits:   

  • Member pricing on all RILA conferences and events 
  • Access to RILA news and information, including This Week in Retail, Retail Innovation Newsletter, Retail Compliance Alerts, and the Government Newsletter  
  • Ability to participate in RILA's committees (subject to nomination rules and procedures for each committee) 
  • An invitation for the company's chairman, vice chairman, CEO, and/or president of the company to attend RILA's annual Retail CEO Forum

Premier Membership   

RILA also offers a limited number of Product Manufacturer Premier Memberships for companies seeking the opportunity to have their president or CEO sit on the RILA Board of Directors. Premier Members pay a flat $150,000 annual dues. This membership tier is extended as an invitation from the Board of Directors' Nominating Committee. Companies interested in this tier may express their interest by providing information to the Nominating Committee.   

As a Board Member, the president/CEO will have full access to all Board of Directors events throughout the two-year term and one vote on the board. He/she will receive updates on all policy issues. Premier Members will assist RILA in gathering data necessary to communicate the value of the retail industry effectively to the national economy. They also agree to participate in RILA's PAC, grassroots, and grassroots policy efforts.
