Retailers urge House passage of bipartisan GENIUS Act

The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) issued the following statement encouraging House members to support the bipartisan stablecoin legislation. 

“Retailers urge the House to approve the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act, legislation that has the potential to lead to frictionless payments and help millions of Americans gain greater access to the financial system,” said Austen Jensen, RILA’s executive vice president of government affairs. "The GENIUS Act lays out the proper guardrails for more innovation and competition in the payments arena. RILA congratulates all of the leading voices in the House and encourages members to join the bipartisan support the bill received in the Senate.”
