Jon Carson, Senior Vice President - Retail, started his retail career over three decades ago at Harold’s Stores. Working his way through Store Operations leadership roles, and eventually to Merchandising at HQ, Jon was immersed in all aspects of retail. Jon joined JDA Software, now Blue Yonder, in 2001 as a Retail Business Consultant.   Currently at Blue Yonder, he leads the North America Retail business unit. He is a collaborative partner to customers and works with his team and strategic partners to ensure customers are achieving maximum business value from their Blue Yonder solutions. Prior to his current role, Jon was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at Blue Yonder and has had continuous customer facing leadership positions across the organization including Consulting and Sales. Throughout his career, he has worked on numerous digital and supply chain transformation projects with leading global retail clients, including Walmart, Lowe’s, Advance Auto, Office Depot, Loblaws, Albertson’s, Macy’s and TJX

Under his recent leadership roles across the Retail Business at Blue Yonder, he has been instrumental in growing partnerships with leading companies like Accenture and Microsoft for the mutual benefit of their retail customers. Recently Microsoft awarded Blue Yonder Global Retail Partner of the Year, and 2021 ISV Partner of the Year, a testament to the work Blue Yonder and Microsoft are driving collaboratively to help retailers on their digital transformation journey.

In his spare time, Jon and his wife Ann, stay busy with their 5 active children (two in college, two in high school, one in middle school) and four dogs! As time allows, he enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors. Jon is a longtime resident of Dallas, and a long-suffering Dallas Cowboy fan.
