Shelley Bransten, Corporate Vice President, WW Retail & Consumer Goods, grew up in retail. At Microsoft, she is a passionate advocate for customers and works tirelessly to ensure they are set up for success across their digital transformation efforts. Prior to Microsoft, Shelley launched business solutions that addressed challenges facing the retail industry as SVP of Retail & CG at Salesforce, and spent 16 years at Gap, Inc. running CRM and digital marketing for all their brands.
During her time leading the WW retail and consumer goods business at Microsoft, she has overseen groundbreaking partnerships with leading companies across the globe including Walgreens Boots alliance, Kroger, H&M, IKEA, M&S and many more. Recently Microsoft was described as the 'Digital Switzerland' in the retail industry and announced a major commitment to going carbon negative by 2030.
In her spare time, Shelley is mother to 2 teenage boys (never a dull moment) and flash the dog (who sometimes listens to.) She enjoys vinyasa power yoga to calm her mind and is a longtime resident of San Francisco (from a family of gold rush flunkees who she is very close to.)
