RILA IEEPA Resources

On Feb. 20, the Supreme Court struck down the administration's use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to levy sweeping tariffs. The decision came after Trump invoked the law to impose tariffs on nearly every trading partner and then faced legal opposition. After consistent rulings in the lower courts, the Supreme Court agreed that IEEPA did not permit the creation of tariffs. After the decision was handed down, Trump announced he would impose new tariffs using a different authority.

RILA has been tracking the developments since Day 1. Below is a collection of resources for members.
