RILA joined FMI, NGA, NACS, and NRF in submitting comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency supporting EPA’s proposed exemption for road and intermodal container transport refrigeration units (TRU) from certain hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) leak repair requirements. The joint comment letter urges the agency to promptly finalize the exemption to provide regulatory certainty for TRU operators, including retailers, and the broader food supply chain.
