BTS: Supply Chain Execs Start LINK2023 Planning

LINK2023: Retail Supply Chain Conference Coming to Orlando

It wasn’t many weeks ago that the retail supply chain community convened at RILA’s LINK2022 Retail Supply Chain Conference, gathering in person for the first time after two years. Last week, the retail leaders comprising the conference’s executive steering committee met to kick off planning for the 2023 event!

LINK is the premier event in retail supply chain, where top executives from leading retailers come together each February to connect and learn from each other. Retail supply chain is continually evolving, and the pace has only accelerated with the ongoing global supply chain disruption. LINK stands out for several reasons—notably, the conference program is designed by and for retail supply chain executives, who are on the front lines of today’s challenges.

A steering committee made up of top leaders from companies like Best Buy, CVS Health, Dollar General, The Home Depot, REI, Target, Ulta Beauty, and many more works each year to identify the most critical topics in retail supply chain and develop compelling sessions exploring those topics. These may take the shape of presentations, case studies, retailer roundtable discussions, demos/tours, or other formats. Uniquely, LINK features retailers speaking in every breakout session, with a program focused on connecting with retailer peers and gaining actionable insights.

Last week, these top supply chain executives met at RILA headquarters in Washington, DC to kick off the process of building a conference that is truly tailored to meeting the challenges that their teams and peers are facing. Agility and responsiveness, AI and data analytics, automation, consumer expectations, last-mile strategies, sustainability, digital twins, ocean shipping challenges, and talent/workforce were just a few of the subjects rising to the top.

Following a day of spirited discussion, the team left the session with a feeling of excitement and a roadmap for developing content uniquely suited to the needs of fellow retail supply chain leaders.

Join us at the LINK2023 Retail Supply Chain Conference in Orlando, February 19-22, to experience an event designed by retailers, for retailers.
