Retail leaders seek collaboration with COVID-19 task force
Retailers stand ready to support President-elect Biden’s task force in its efforts to tackle the pandemic.
The Retail Industry Leaders Association sent a letter to President-elect Biden's Covid-19 Advisory Board outlining the work retailers have done over the last eight months to keep employees and consumers safe while providing them with the goods and services they need.
The letter highlights the retail industry’s early commitment to establishing rigorous safety protocols, designing new and innovative ways for customers to shop safe, and calling for governors to implement mask mandates.
