Live from RILA LINK2020: Day Three

Retail Supply Chain Conference

We wrapped up LINK2020 with a morning full of bold general sessions.

Michael Hanson, RILA’s senior executive vice president of public affairs, opened the day reflecting on the last two days and sharing insights into RILA’s commitment to serving our members.

He turned the floor over to RILA alum, Hun Quach who now serves as the senior director, government relations at Under Armor and The TRADE GUYS: Scott Miller and Bill Reinsch – who host a popular weekly podcast. We recorded a LIVE episode of their show from the conference stage covering all the buzz worthy topics on international trade policy, politics and chickens (you’ll have to listen to be in on this one).

Next up Michael Dominy, VP Supply Chain Research, Gartner shared retail supply chain metrics and benchmarks and how to leverage them as part of the supply chain transformation.

And to wrap up the conference, keynote speaker author, and entrepreneur Byron Reese challenged attendees to consider how AI and robots are going to transform supply chains and the world.

“Technology doubles and now it is about to double and maybe create the utopia that people have dreamed about solving problems like disease, hunger, poverty and more.”
