Michael Levine
Vice President and Assistant General Counsel
Michael Levine serves as Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA). In this role, Michael supports RILA’s legal affairs and compliance communities, helping retail leaders navigate emerging legal, regulatory, governance, and sustainability challenges.
Michael joined RILA in 2026 after more than 15 years of in-house retail experience. Prior to joining the association, he served as Global Chief Sustainability Officer at Under Armour, where he led the company’s sustainability strategy and advised on a broad range of legal, compliance, corporate governance, and global sourcing matters. Earlier in his career, Michael was a partner at Epstein Becker & Green and served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York.
Throughout his career, Michael has worked closely with senior legal and business leaders on complex issues involving corporate governance, regulatory compliance, environmental and sustainability initiatives, and global supply chain operations. He is a frequent collaborator with industry associations and brings extensive experience building partnerships across the retail ecosystem.
