Vice President, Marketing Operations and User Strategy
John Chen serves as the Vice President of Marketing Operations & User Strategy. In this role, John is responsible for the association’s overall marketing initiatives and leads the strategic direction for RILA’s infrastructure and practices to improve the customer and member experience.
Previously, John worked at the American Association for Justice, where he lead the membership-marketing initiatives for recruitment and retention, and oversaw the marketing for most of the association’s product and services departments. Before joining AAJ, was the director of marketing at MCI USA where he held client roles including, managing director for the Public Media Business Association, and vice president of marketing for the electronic retailing association. He regularly presents at ASAE, has served on their Communication Section Council, is a graduate of their Leadership Academy, and is the vice-chair of the CAE Exam Committee. John earned his CAE in 2014.
