The RLC’s brief supports the petition for certiorari that asks the Court to consider the following Question Presented: “Whether agreements calling for individual arbitration are enforceable under the Federal Arbitration Act with respect to claims asserted under the California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act.” The California judiciary’s entrenched refusal to recognize Supreme Court jurisprudence regarding the supremacy of the Federal Arbitration Act has been an ongoing problem for retailers.
