RLC’s Position: 
The RLC joined the Chamber of Commerce amicus brief to explain how California’s Assembly Bill 5 is preempted by federal law because the California law would effectively prohibit independent motor carrier owners and operators from being hired by retail companies thereby impeding the intentional federal deregulation of interstate trucking.
