Through education, research, and collaboration, the Foundation works to address challenges that impact retailers, employees, and consumers while supporting solutions that strengthen communities.
Why the Foundation Was Created
Retail plays a critical role in communities across the country, providing jobs, essential goods, and economic opportunity. However, rising retail crime and emerging fraud threats are creating new challenges for retailers, law enforcement, and local communities.
The RILA Communities Foundation was established to help address these challenges through collaboration, information sharing, and research that supports effective solutions.
By bringing together retailers, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, and policymakers, the Foundation helps strengthen partnerships that improve safety and support thriving retail environments.

Leadership
The Foundation is guided by a board of directors and leadership team that includes leaders from retail, public safety, and related industries who share a commitment to strengthening communities and supporting safer retail environments.

Annalise Catherine
Allison Rosser
In this role, Rosser supports the Vibrant Communities Initiative (VCI) and Gift Card Fraud Prevention Alliance (GCFPA) helping develop program strategy and execution to build a wholistic view of retail crime.
Through this work, she fosters collaborative cross-industry partnerships through information sharing with the goal of creating shared accountability and ultimately reducing retail crime.
Prior to her role with the RILA Communities Foundation, Rosser was a Retail Strategy Manager at Accenture.
