Registration Eligibility

Retailers

To qualify as a retail attendee, an individual must be an employee of a retail company and may not be engaged as a consultant, contractor, or agent of that company. A retail company is defined by RILA as a company whose core business is selling its inventory of consumer goods directly to end consumers.

Consumer Product Goods

To qualify as a consumer product goods attendee, an individual must be an employee of a consumer product goods company and may not be engaged as a consultant, contractor, or agent of that company. A consumer product goods company is defined by RILA as a company whose core business is selling consumer products directly to end consumers or to retailers for resale to end consumers.

Companies that sell products to retailers for use in their businesses, such as security cameras, point-of-sale systems, or other products intended for use in stores, distribution centers, headquarters, or other locations, do not qualify as consumer product manufacturers for RILA purposes.

Service Providers

Service providers are companies that provide goods or services to the retail industry for use by companies, their stores, or their distribution centers. Individuals attending RILA from a business development perspective are included in this category. This also applies to ports and any logistics company owned by a retailer that provides services to other retailers.

Individuals from service provider companies must contract as an exhibitor, sponsor, or participant in the LINK Connect meetings program to attend a RILA event.
