The Retail Industry Leaders Association respects the privacy of its website users, members and other customers and has developed this policy to reflect the high standards of its members.

Collection of Personal Information

In general, RILA collects public business contact information from our member companies, potential member companies and executive employees of those companies.  RILA may collect information that you give us voluntarily, and also collects information from public data sources and other third parties.

Use of Personal Information

Unless otherwise stated, RILA uses the information we collect to communicate RILA activities, products and services to potential customers.  Personal information is only shared with RILA staff, other RILA members, or agents and contractors performing duties on behalf of RILA.

RILA never sells, rents or provides to any third parties any lists or personal information, including but not limited to member lists, potential member lists or email addresses, with the following exceptions:

• We provide the publicly available addresses and phone numbers of our member companies.
• We provide the names and titles of our conference attendees, along with their publicly available addresses and phone numbers, to exhibitors, sponsors and attendees of that specific conference. Conference attendees may opt to allow exhibitors or sponsors to collect their personal information, including email addresses, through the use of a lead retrieval mechanism. This is strictly voluntary on the part of the conference attendee.
• We provide personal contact information, including email addresses, of committee, council and working group members to the members of that specific group.
• We may ask your permission to provide personal contact information to a partner or third party, and in such cases will only provide that information with your permission.

 If you wish to be removed from any mail or email distribution, you may request such, in writing, to RILA. You may also change communications preferences and subscribe or unsubscribe to newsletters by updating your personal profile on our website. You can also opt out of receiving future email messages by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email message you receive from RILA.
