The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), the trade association for the world’s largest and most innovative retail companies, today announced it is now accepting applications for the 2016 Retail AP Innovation Awards. The Awards recognize the most visionary and influential solution providers on the horizon and serve as a showcase for the most exciting new technologies in major areas of asset protection.

Applicants will compete in several categories, including Business Intelligence and Analytics, Operational Loss, Crimes Against Business, and more. A panel of top executives in retail asset protection will review all submissions and winners will be announced at RILA’s 2016 Retail Asset Protection Conference, April 17-20 in Dallas, Texas.

“With the retail industry so rapidly evolving, it’s important to recognize cutting edge technology that will address the top asset protection challenges that lay ahead,” said Lisa LaBruno, RILA’s senior vice president of retail operations. “We’re optimistic that industry solution provider partners as well as non-traditional suppliers, research institutions, academia and others will seize this opportunity to put their best foot forward in Dallas.”
