Michael Duffy

Mike Duffy is CEO and Board Member of C&S Wholesale Grocers, a $27 billion grocery wholesale company, headquartered in Keene, NH. C&S is the largest wholesale grocery distributor, and 10th largest privately-held company, in the United States based on revenue.

In his previous role as President, Hospital Solutions and Global Supply Chain at Cardinal Health, Mike was responsible for $10 billion division with over 23,000 employees. His scope included bringing all Cardinal Health Medical products, services and solutions to the company’s hospital clients as well as leading the company’s Global Manufacturing (32 domestic and international plants) and distribution (70 distribution centers) organizations. During his tenure, Mike drove organic and inorganic growth of Cardinal’s branded portfolio to more than twice market and overhauled Cardinal’s brand strategy.  

Prior to Cardinal Health, he served as Vice President, Global Value Chain at Proctor & Gamble. He globally managed customer service, promotions, inventory and distribution for the Gillette Business Unit (+100 locations) and co-led the supply chain integration for P&G and Gillette.

In addition to sitting on C&S’s Board of Directors, Mike is a member of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Board of Directors. Previously, Mike served on the Columbus Metropolitan Library Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). 

Mike earned both a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research and a master’s degree in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. 

He has spoken at numerous industry gatherings, including the Forbes Mergers & Acquisitions conference, and received industry recognition for his work improving diversity in leadership. 

He currently resides with his family in Columbus, Ohio.
