10 years. Plus one.
Eleven years ago the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) started its annual study of benchmarking metrics used in warehousing. This study is being done in partnership with WERC, Dr. Karl B. Manrodt and Joe Tillman. It has become a widely used reference by distribution professionals like yourself, and for that we are grateful.
The purpose of the study is to:
• Identify the most commonly used warehousing metrics
• Prepare benchmarking data for our readers and members
• Link key metrics to industry types, supply chain structure and overall strategy.
We understand how busy you are; the survey should take about ten to fifteen minutes.
To take part in the survey, click here.
To thank you for your support, we will hold a drawing for a mini-iPad. We will hold one drawing for every 400 completed surveys, with a maximum of 3. In addition, all respondents will receive a complimentary copy of the complete findings. DC Velocity, WERC, and RILA will also publish a report based on the findings, and all members will have access to the report. You will also have an opportunity to receive a free copy of last year’s report at the end of the survey.
Thank you in advance for helping further our research efforts. We sincerely appreciate your assistance.
If you cannot participate, or if there is someone else more appropriate to contact, please forward this link to them.
Please contact Joe Tillman (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Karl Manrodt (email@example.com) if you experience any problems with the survey or have questions.
