Lori Bossmann has been with Ace Hardware Corporation for 28 years. She was appointed to the position of executive vice president of supply chain and retail support in January 2014, where she oversees supply chain operations, inventory replenishment, retail support, loss prevention and property administration for Ace Hardware.
Lori joined Ace Hardware in 1986 as general accounting manager where she managed budgeting processes and financial reporting activities for the organization. She was named assistant controller in 1990 and four years later was promoted to controller. In 1997, she was named vice president, controller and in 1999 was appointed to vice president of finance. In 2000, Lori was named vice president of merchandising and in 2005 her areas of oversight expanded to include merchandising, marketing and advertising.
She was named vice president, supply chain operations and planning in 2009.
One of Lori's most notable accomplishments in her tenure at Ace Hardware has been her role in leading the largest business transformation project and enterprise-wise system implementation in Ace Hardware's history.
Prior to joining Ace Hardware, Lori worked as a senior auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick.
Lori holds a bachelor of science degree from Northern Illinois University. She is actively involved in mentorship programs for aspiring professionals and enjoys her involvement with the Executives' Club of Chicago. Lori is a proud mother to her two daughters, Jennifer and Jessica. Jennifer is a recent graduate of University of Illinois at Champaign and is currently employed by Deloitte Consulting. Her other daughter Jessica is a Finance and Accounting major at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
