RILA has once again partnered with the University of Texas McCombs School of Business Master of Science in Business Analytics Program to address a pressing industry challenge: measuring the ROI of store AP-related tasks. Over the past several months, the students teamed-up with Lowe’s to study the broad range of AP tasks performed by store and multi-store personnel, the time invested in performing those tasks, and the associated ROI. The students will share key findings that could serve as a framework for other retailers to identify opportunities around efficiencies, process changes and technology spend, with a goal of freeing-up store associates to focus on the customer.
