Director, State Affairs and Advocacy
Brian Rose is the Director of State Affairs & Advocacy. In this role, he manages our day-to-day state activity across the country and works to build consensus on key policy issues related to e-Fairness, labor, privacy, Organized Retail Crime (ORC), etc. In addition, he manages RILA’s State Affairs Committee which is made up of our members’ state government executives and staff. The goal of which is share intel on state activity and provide feedback on specific items that need addressing in the states. For this committee, RILA hosts a monthly call and meets in-person a couple of times throughout the year for planning.
Prior to joining RILA, Brian was an Associate Vice President at DDC Public Affairs where he managed advocacy campaigns for trade association and corporate clients, as well as assisting with Political Action Committee (PAC) engagements.
