The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) announced today that it will launch the first ever retail-specific law conference to offer premier educational content to retail general counsels and in-house legal teams. The conference will be held November 8-10 at that Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa in Clearwater Florida.
“A comprehensive understanding of the law is an essential and continuously evolving element of retail,” said RILA President Sandy Kennedy. “This ground-breaking conference will explore the complexities of the law as it relates to the retail industry and present attendees with an opportunity to hear from experienced legal minds on the issues facing the industry today.”
The RILA Retail Law Conference 2010 will provide legal executives the opportunity to network, and collaborate on major legal and organizational issues affecting the retail industry.
With an emphasis on ethics and an introduction to retail-focused law issues, conference sessions will qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits and be tailored toward retail and consumer product general counsels, senior legal executives and other in-house attorneys. The exceptional conference dialogue will help organizations navigate the legal landscape of the industry.
