The LPRC Research Committee has commissioned a critical research initiative designed to provide powerful decision-making data for all retailers. This program involves research scientists working with AP/LP professionals and CapIndex specialists to develop improved quantitative models to better explain and predict factors that affect retail shrink at the store level. LPRC retailer members believe this quantitative model project will be an important fact-based resource for retailers since it will be updated annually; documenting trends in shrink, and factors that may affect shrink over time.
