The webinar will be held on Thursday, March 4, at 3:00 p.m., and is open to any human resources, legal counsel and government affairs executives at RILA member companies.Ms. Lipnic was Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment Standards from 2002 to 2009, where her agency enforced some of the most comprehensive labor and employment laws that impact more than 135 million workers, including the Wage and Hour Division (WHD), the Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP), the Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) and the Office of Workers Compensation (OWCP). Ms. Lipnic led teams who successfully revised the Part 541 overtime, FMLA and union disclosure regulations, among others. She has testified before Congress many times and also served as workforce policy counsel to Republicans on the House Education and Labor Committee.Mr. Sequeira was Assistant Secretary of Labor for Policy from 2007 to 2009. While with the Department of Labor, Sequeira advised Secretary Elaine L. Chao on a wide range of policy issues affecting the American workforce and oversaw more than 80 regulations annually under development by the department's agencies. Previously, Mr. Sequeira served as legal counsel to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY).Mr. Passantino was Deputy and Acting Administrator of the Wage & Hour Division from 2006 to 2009. In this role, he led the interpretation and enforcement of the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and numerous other federal statutes. Mr. Passantino also worked with Ms. Lipnic as Senior Policy Advisor for the Employment Standards Administration in 2005. Before joining the U.S. Department of Labor, he served as a clerk to the Honorable John F.
